 Riad Shalimar is a short walk to the major attractions including the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa Square &  Souks.

We have 4 guestrooms, a sun terrace & a plentiful supply of peaceful areas.

Our culinary offering, from early breakfasts to sumptuous dinners offer fresh, wholesome foods.

  • Riad Shalimar is a 15 minute walk from the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, 1km from Bahia Palace & 3km from Majorelle Gardens.
  • Menara airport is a 20-minute drive from Riad Shalimar. A shuttle to the airport can be arranged at the property or using our 'contact us' page.

Food Service

  • A traditional Moroccan breakfast is served each morning at Riad Shalimar
  • Guests can also enjoy local and international dishes, at lunch or dinner, on request
  • Bottled water is provided in each guestroom
  • Cooking lessons are offered by our resident chef  Halima at her own home with her family, including visits to the local market to collect fresh foods. A great opportunity to understand Moroccan life and cuisine!

Riad Rules

  • Check-in: 3pm
  • Check-out: 12pm
  • Check in times can be extended, subject to availability. There is also facility to store bags
  • Minimum booking is 2 nights at weekends
  • Pets are not allowed
  • Whole property bookings accepted (Discounts available)
  • Parties/Events are not allowed
  • Quiet hours are between 00:00 and 08:00
  • Only registered guests are allowed to stay at the riad during their stay, which is strictly governed by Moroccan Law and can lead to sanctions and legal proceedings. Any guests must seek prior approval from the Management team before bringing in additional visitors.
